Here’s an idea of what you’ll receive:
To house a side of beef, you need to account for approximately 9 – 12 cu ft of freezer space.
- 105 lbs from the Chuck. This includes your Roasts, Ground Beef, and Stew Cuts
- 30 lbs from the Rib. This includes Prime Rib, Ribeye Steaks, Short Ribs, Ground Beef, and Stew Cuts.
- 60 lbs from the Round. This includes your Round Roasts, Rump Roasts, Tip Steaks, and Ground Beef.
- 60 lbs from the Loin. This includes all your favorite retail cuts like T-bones, Sirloins, New York Strips, and Tenderloins. It also has more great Roasts, Ground Beef and Stew Cuts.
- 70 lbs from the Flank, Short Plate, Brisket, and Shank. This includes your Flank Steaks, Skirt Steaks, Brisket, Ground Beef, Stew Cuts, and Soup Bones.
The remaining weight is found in fat, bone, and trim loss which accounts for approximately 5% of the hanging weight.
HOW IT WORKS
Once you place your order, Zack will walk you through the whole process step by step. Together, you’ll determine the types of cuts and weights that are right for you and your family. In the end, you’ll have a freezer full of Premium Quality Texas Beef.
The initial payment is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT which will be applied to the total. Your final price is based on the hanging weight of the beef. This includes full processing, your choice of cuts, vacuum packing, and freezing.
Remember, the hanging weights do vary with each order but our average hanging weight for a side is about 375lbs at $6.00 per lb.
